On NCP MLA Sangram Arun Jagtap’s statement asking Hindus to purchase goods only from Hindu-owned shops, Maharashtra Minority Commission Chairman Pyare Khan said, “Sangram Jagtap holds a constitutional post. He should not use such language. Such words have never been used by the great Sanatani people of the country….This country cannot run without both Hindus and Muslims…”
