On visiting disaster-affected areas in Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said, “This disaster is in the entire state, but some people of the BJP are spreading rumors through social media… It is not seen anywhere that a minister is present at the spot, especially to get the roads opened… If anyone is standing with the people in the disaster, it is the Himachal Pradesh government… It is our responsibility to get disaster-affected people settled. We will also provide them with financial assistance…”
