Families desperate for news as Kishtwar flash flood death toll rises; Rescue ops continues
Rescue operations continue in Kishtwar as families await updates on missing relatives. Speaking to ANI, flash flood victim Pawan Kumar said his father went missing after their hotel was swept away by floods. Mandeep Saini, another victim of the Kishtwar cloudburst, sought help in locating his wife and mother-in-law, missing since August 12. Locals claimed that the actual number of missing people may exceed official figures, citing unaccounted residents. Families await updates, as around 60 people are confirmed dead and over 70 remain missing
