ED raids Saurabh Bhardwaj’s residence in alleged hospital construction scam, Atishi, Kejriwal react
ED on August 26, carried out raid at AAP’s leader & Ex- Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj’s residence in Chirag Delhi. The ED raided total 13 locations including Bhardwaj’s residences, across Delhi-NCR region. These raids were conducted in connection with a money laundering case linked to alleged irregularities in hospital construction projects in national capital. The search operations are being carried out under Section 17 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA)In response to these raids, Delhi LoP Atishi shared a post on ‘X’, raising question “Why was there a raid at Saurabh ji’s place today?” Chandigarh: On ED raids against AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj, AAP National Media in-charge, Anurag Dhanda said, “Why is this fake raid being done by ED on Saurabh Bharadwaj? This is happening because since yesterday, the whole country has been discussing that PM Modi’s degree is fake, and something has to be done to divert attention from that issue. Yesterday, Amit Shah raised an issue, and the discussion went on the whole day. Today, this raid is being done in such a case when he was not a minister…”
