EAM Jaishankar meets US state Secy Marco Rubio on sideline of ASEAN summit, discusses bilateral ties
EAM S Jaishankar met US Secy of State Marco Rubio in Kuala Lumpur on October 27. The meeting was held on the side-lines of the ongoing ASEAN summit in Malaysia. EAM Jaishankar shared on ‘X’, “Glad to meet @SecRubio this morning in Kuala Lumpur.” He further informed that both the leaders discussed “bilateral ties” & “regional and global issues.” EAM S Jaishankar will represent PM Modi at 20th East Asia Summit on October 27 in Kuala Lumpur. Meanwhile, PM Modi virtually addressed 22nd ASEAN-India Summit on October 26. Earlier, Jaishakar met with Thai FM Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Singapore FM Vivian Balakrishnan. On October 26, EAM Jaishankar held talks with Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim on the sidelines of the 47th ASEAN summit in Kuala Lumpur. The two leards held talks on India-Malaysia bilateral cooperation. He shared on ‘X’, “Conveyed the best wishes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a successful ASEAN Summit.”
