“Draconian law…” Congress MP Vamsi Gaddam slams BJP on bill for removing CMs, ministers
Reacting on the bill for the removal of the PM, CMs, and ministers held on serious criminal charges, Congress MP Vamsi Gaddam on August 20 called this bill as a draconian law. He also said that they will fight against it.
“We have seen how the BJP is using ED and I-T for its convenience. They have filed 179 cases against Opposition leaders, but only two have been convicted. Under the new law, if they put you in jail for more than 30 days, then they have the right to remove you from office. This is a draconian law. We will fight against it. Rahul Gandhi has been saying we will fight to save the Constitution…,” said Vamsi Gaddam.
