‘Don’t need meeting, don’t have big expectations…’ Manipur Congress casts doubt on PM Modi’s visit
Talking to ANI, Congress leader Angomcha Bimol Akoijam shared his reaction on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming Manipur visit. He said that he doesn’t have any big expectation from PM’s visit. There is no clarity of him coming. Then he said that “We don’t want him to just visit, we want PMs to solve the problems.”
On the visit of PM to Manipur, Congress MP A. Bimol Akoijam said, “I don’t have any big expectations from him… Even now, I’m not sure whether he will visit or not… If it were a kind of well-intentioned visit to address the issue, then his itinerary would have had longer stays and meetings with leaders of different political parties, prominent citizens… We don’t need a public meeting to be addressed by the PM; we want the PM to solve the problem…”
