Continuous rainfall causes waterlogging on railway tracks, halts Mumbai trains
Train services were affected due to waterlogging on railway tracks following continuous rainfall in Mumbai on August 20. Meanwhile, crowd of passengers waited at Lokmanya Tilak railway station. Mumbai experienced heavy rainfall over the past 21 hours, with some suburbs receiving more than 200 mm of rain.
“My train was scheduled for 8 am and it is running 5 hours late and now it is 2 pm… The reason for the delay is said to be rain…,” said Passenger.
