British PM Starmer hosts Zelenskky at 10 Downing Street ahead of Coalition of Willing meeting
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to 10 Downing Street on October 24, ahead of the Coalition of the Willing meeting later today. Britain on Friday urged fellow allies of Ukraine to reach a deal to use frozen Russian assets to strengthen its hand for any future peace talks, as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy arrived in London for talks with those allies. Zelenskiy told Starmer Putin does not show he is willing to end the war, and is instead ramping up attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure ahead of winter.
