Breaking: Jailed UP Ex-Min Gayatri Prajapati hospitalised following heated argument with prisoner
UP’s jailed former minister Gayatri Prajapati was hospitalized on September 30. Prajapati was injured after argument with his inmate in Lucknow’s Prison. He met with injury after the prisoner hit him with part of cupboard. DG prisoner informed that he was admitted in jail’s hospital after “altercation with a prisoner on cleaning duty.” However, Prajapati speaking to ANI, claimed that he was “attacked by a vicious criminal”. Later, he was sent to King George’s Medical University in Lucknow for treatment. His wife Maharaji Prajapati, who is also SP MLA from Amethi, reached hospital along with daughter to meet him. Samajwadi Party expressed concern over attack; SP chief on ‘X’ demanded “A fair judicial investigation” on this attack. Akhilesh Yadav also targeted the UP govt by saying “No one is safe anywhere in UP.”
