Bihar women to get ₹7,500 cr boost as Prime Minister Modi launches Mahila Rojgar Yojana
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches Bihar’s Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana via video conferencing. Under this scheme, Rs 10,000 each is being transferred to the bank accounts of 75 lakh women across Bihar, totaling Rs 7,500 crore. During his speech he talked about how the women of Bihar will be benefitted from this. He also brought comparison as of during the previous governments of Bihar, they used to think less of women’s development- but with this double engine government, women can stay freely and can thrive.
