ANI News Trump makes U-turn over Canada-China deal after Carney’s speech at Woprld Economic Forum at Davos

In a recent Truth Social post, US President Donald Trump made an absolute U-turn over Canada-China deal. He called Canadian PM Carney “sorely mistaken” over the deal with China, which he praised earlier. After the two countries signed the deal, Trump had praised PM Carney, saying “it’s a good thing” to sign deal with China. However, in the recent Truth Social post, on January 25, Trump warned Canada, “China will Canada alive”. President Trump called Carney “Governor” and warned him against making Canada a “Drop Off Port” for China. “The last thing the World needs is to have China take over Canada…” Said Trump in another Truth Social post. This sharp turn by US President came after PM Carney’s bold & effective speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
