Piyush Gupta, Chairman designate, Keppel Group, said, “As everybody knows, India is very important for Singapore. In the last 5-6 years, particularly after COVID, India-Singapore relations have greatly improved…Overall environment for investment and business has imporved a lot. But traditionally, more investment is made in South India and West India. But in the last few years, under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, UP has transformed. The progress in UP is very impressive. Singapore has great opportunities in the sectors there. So, we discussed our investment opportunities given the progress in UP…I am also the Chairman of Singapore Management University. So, he is interested in University-to-University tie-up MoU and student exchange programs. So, we will explore this. I am also the Chairman of Mandai Wildlife Group, and we discussed possibilities in eco-tourism…”
