ANI News Must Watch Video! Ousted PM Sheikh Hasina’s first public speech rocks Bangladesh amid Election

Weeks before national elections, Ousted-PM Sheikh Hasina launched all-out attack against Yunus Government. “The usurer, a money launderer, a plunderer, and a corrupt, power-hungry traitor…”: Sheikh Hasina went blunt against Muhammad Yunus. In a pre-recorded message, Hasina encouraged Bangladeshis to unite and be “galvanized by the spirit of our great Liberation War in this grave hour”. Labeling Yunus a “national enemy,” Hasina urged Bangladeshis to “overthrow the foreign-serving puppet regime of this national enemy”. In her remarks, she also referred to her oust from the country in August 2024 as “forcibly ousted” by the “murderous fascist” Yunus. She ripped into the interim government over human rights abuses, violations of press freedom, and sexual assaults against women She accused Yunus of “betraying” Bangladesh and pushing the country toward a ‘multilateral’ conflict. Hasina warned that Bangladesh currently stands “at the edge of an abyss, a nation battered and bleeding, navigating one of the most perilous chapters in its history.” Sheikh Hasina said that all democratic and progressive forces should take a solemn oath to build a humane, welfare-oriented democratic state. This was her first public message since she ousted from the Bangladesh in the wake of violent protests in August 2024. Bangladesh is set to undergo parliamentary elections on February 12 for the first time after regime change in 2024. Meanwhile the activities of Sheikh Hasina’s party Awami League have been banned. Bangladesh Election Commission had in May 2025 suspended the registration of the Awami League as a party.
