As per a latest PwC report, India has an opportunity to position itself as a global leader in digital infrastructure innovation. According to the report, this can be achieved by adopting emerging models such as data embassies and data cities. These data cities would bring together data centres, AI labs & digital services under a single policy and tax regime. India can attract foreign Governments, international organisations by offering ‘data embassy’ arrangements said, PwC report. Combined impact of data embassies, data cities would strengthen India’s position in the global digital value chain.
