Reacting to US President Donald Trump’s speech on the Iran war on Wednesday (Apr 1), Professor Klaus Larres told CNA that Trump was trying to push the responsibility of reopening the Strait of Hormuz to other countries and that is “highly unfair”. He added that the Trump administration had likely dismissed US military advice that Iran would close the strait as leverage. “Trump is really responsible for bringing about the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and now he gives the responsibility for opening the strait to other countries,” he said. #usiranwar #trump #iran
