At the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), a brand co-founded by four girls—two from China and two from Peru—brought toys crafted from Peru’s “national treasure” alpaca wool. From a small 18-square-meter booth at the first CIIE to a large 54-square-meter exhibition stand today, the team has participated in the expo for 8 consecutive sessions, opened up the Chinese market, and in turn, enabled Peruvian artisans to receive a steady stream of orders. Now, with the support of the Chancay Port, Peruvian products can enter China faster and at lower costs.
