Red Line for Gaza March: Massive pro-Palestine protest in Brussels
Tens of thousands of protesters flooded the streets of Brussels, wearing red to symbolise a “red line” against what they describe as genocide in Gaza.
The demonstration, drawing participants from across Belgium and neighbouring countries, called for stronger action from the Belgian government and the European Union to address Israel’s war on Gaza. Activists expressed frustration with current sanctions and diplomatic measures, demanding more decisive steps to protect Palestinian lives.
The march, organised by Belgium’s largest solidarity organisation, Triple 11, aimed to raise awareness of the plight of 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza.
Demonstrators carried a large banner bearing the names of those killed in the territory, highlighting the human cost of the war.
They’re also demanding that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu be held accountable for the killing of Palestinians.
