Philippines earthquake: 7.4 magnitude quake shakes Mindanao region
A tsunami alert has been issued after the Philippines was struck by a magnitude 7.4 earthquake, the second in less than 24 hours. The quake hit the southern Mindanao region at a depth of around 58 kilometres. Hazardous tsunami waves are possible for coastal areas. People are being urged to move to higher ground.
