Optimism grows in Russia as diplomatic efforts raise hopes for a peace agreement
In Russia, there’s hope the growing diplomatic momentum will result in an agreement to end the war.
President Vladimir Putin is reportedly offering to leave Ukraine’s Sumy and Kharkiv regions, which Russia is currently occupying.
He’s also making several demands, including the takeover of Ukraine’s eastern Donbas region.
