One more Israeli captive’s body to be handed over at 18:00 GMT: Hamas
Hamas says it will hand over the body of an Israeli captive in the coming hours.
The captive’s remains were found north of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip.
The hand-over is part of a ceasefire deal with Israel.
Hamas has so far returned 24 out of 28 deceased captives under the deal.
Israel has also returned dozens of bodies of Palestinians from Gaza- many bearing signs of torture and execution.
On Wednesday, Israeli military said a route for supplies into the famine-stricken northern Gaza has finally been reopened.
That’s raising hopes that food, water and medical support can finally reach Palestinian communities there.
The Zikim crossing has opened for the first time since the ceasefire began more than a month ago.
Israel is meant to allow at least 600 trucks in each day but fewer than 200 have been entering.
