Israelis celebrate as Trump announces Gaza ceasefire deal and captives’ release
Families of the Israeli captives have released a video, thanking US President Donald Trump for his role in the ceasefire which includes the release of their loved ones.
And in Tel Aviv, more families and friends of the Israeli captives have been celebrating.
Israel says Hamas is holding about 48 captives in Gaza, 20 of whom are believed to be alive.
US President Donald Trump told Fox News they would probably be released on Monday.
Al Jazeera’s Nour Odeh has more from Jordanian capital, Amman.
She’s there because the Israeli government has banned Al Jazeera from reporting from Israel and the occupied West Bank.
