Israeli ‘aggressive acts’ in Lebanon and Gaza aim to intimidate: Former US diplomat
Israeli forces have carried out a series of strikes on southern Lebanon, despite a ceasefire agreed nearly one year ago.
The Attacks hit several towns, where the army said Hezbollah was rebuilding its infrastructure.
At least one person was killed and three wounded in the Tyre area.
Israeli forces have also ordered people to leave three towns, or face attacks.
Former US diplomat Nabeel Khoury says Israel’s latest attacks on southern Lebanon are “in line” with its attacks on the Gaza Strip and come as “tensions and problems” surface along the border with Egypt.
