#AlJazeera Gaza ceasefire is not a guarantee of long-term peace, or a Palestinian state: Analysis

Hamas said in a public statement that it has concluded an “agreement stipulating an end to the war on Gaza, the occupation’s withdrawal from it, the entry of aid, and a prisoner exchange”.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed what he called “a great day for Israel”, saying he will “convene the government” on Thursday to “approve the agreement and bring all our precious kidnapped people home”.
