Earthquake kills at least 20 as it strikes northern Afghanistan
An earthquake has struck northern Afghanistan, killing at least 20 people near the city of Mazar-i-Sharif.
The magnitude 6.3 quake hit in the early hours of Monday, as families were sleeping.
It comes two months after another quake in the east killed more than 2,000 people.

Samira Sayed Rahman is Programme Development and Advocacy Director with Save the Children in Afghanistan. She says the earthquake has left roads and powerlines destroyed.
