Brazil prepares to host climate conference: Producers highlight sustainability ahead of COP30
Leaders from more than 150 countries are beginning to arrive in Belem in northern Brazil. They’ll be attending a Climate Summit ahead of the formal start of the UN COP30 conference, and for the first time, both summits are being held in the Amazon rainforest. However, US President Donald Trump, who has pulled out of the Paris Climate Agreement, says neither he nor any high-level US official will attend.
