Al Jazeera English US strikes in Nigeria: Isil fighters targeted in northern state of Sokoto

The United States has launched air strikes targeting ISIL fighters in Nigeria, working alongside the Nigerian government. Officials say the attacks come after ongoing violence against both Christian and Muslim communities, as extremist groups continue their deadly attacks.
