Political instability in Myanmar is spilling across borders, leaving tens of thousands of refugees stranded in India’s Mizoram state. Many say upcoming elections, dominated by junta-backed parties, offer little hope of change or a safe return home. With limited support, no formal refugee policy, and fears of renewed violence, displaced families face growing uncertainty about their future.
