Al Jazeera English Love divided by Rafah crossing closure as Palestinian couple wait to reunite

The promise of Rafah crossing reopening has given Palestinians hope they can be reunited with their loved ones after years apart.
Among them is Ahmed, who’s been separated from his fiancee Asma since October 2024.
Divided by Israel’s blockade on the Strip, their wedding plans and their future have been put on hold.
But their love has endured.
