Al Jazeera English Israel parliament passes first reading of death penalty for ‘terrorism’ law

Israel’s parliament has advanced several controversial bills, including legislation for the death penalty.
If passed, the law would make it compulsory to sentence Palestinians convicted of killing Jewish Israelis, to death.
