Al Jazeera English Israel acts with impunity in Gaza: Human rights groups warn

Human rights organisations say Israel is committing grave crimes in Gaza and the Occupied West Bank with impunity.
They warn this undermines Palestinian lives and threatens the international legal system meant to hold all states accountable.
The International Criminal Court has been obstructed by the US, while Hungary has withdrawn from it in support of Israel.
The US has supplied Israel with weapons, restricted criticism globally, and imposed sanctions on UN human rights monitor Francesca Albanese.
Germany lifted arms restrictions, and the EU has avoided sanctions despite continuous violations by Israel.
Violence, land grabs, and settler attacks in the West Bank have surged, escalating the humanitarian crisis.
Experts say Palestinians bear the immediate cost, and this entrenched impunity endangers the entire international law framework.
