Al Jazeera English Guinea votes in first polls since 2021 coup, military leader likely to win

Polls have closed in Guinea in a vote meant to return the country to democratic rule three years after a military coup.
Military leader Mamady Doumbouya is a clear favourite.
He runs against eight other candidates following a contested referendum.
