Al Jazeera English Epstein files fallout: UK parliament backs release of documents on Andrew

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, the former Prince Andrew, was released pending further inquiries after his arrest on suspicion of sharing market‑sensitive information with Jeffrey Epstein while serving as UK trade envoy.

MPs scrutinised his appointment as the government backed a Liberal Democrat motion to disclose confidential papers from 2001 and links to Peter Mandelson, who was arrested on Monday on suspicion of misconduct in public office and released.
