Al Jazeera English Eleven dead, hundreds missing after refugee boat sinks off Malaysian coast

Search teams have recovered the bodies of at least 11 people after a boat carrying asylum seekers sank near Malaysia’s border with Thailand.
Dozens of people are still unaccounted for and there’s a major operation underway along the maritime border between Thailand and Malaysia.

Al Jazeera’s Rob McBride accompanied one of the search patrols, in the waters off the island of Langkawi, Malaysia.
