Al Jazeera English Drilling proposal in New Mexico: Pueblo leaders protest proposal near cultural site

The Trump administration is taking steps to allow oil-and-gas drilling on a UNESCO World Heritage site in New Mexico.
The Chaco Canyon is dotted with archeological ruins – held sacred by the indigenous Pueblo peoples.
Drilling is currently banned, but that protection could soon be revoked.
