Al Jazeera English Breakaway faction of Pakistan Taliban claims responsibility for deadly Islamabad bomb blast

A breakaway faction of the Pakistan Taliban is claiming responsibility for a suicide bomb attack in Islamabad.
The Jamaat-ul-Ahrar group says it was behind the blast that killed at least 12 people.
Authorities say explosives were detonated near a police car outside a court building.
The area was crowded at the time and at least 20 people have been injured.

Imtiaz Gul is a political and security analyst and the executive director of the Center for Research and Security Studies. He says the attack in Islamabad will only bring about more reprisals and instability between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
