Scientists and world leaders are in Brazil for the UN climate summit. They face the task of trying to keep global climate cooperation from collapsing—10 years after the Paris Agreement. Despite the soaring use of renewable energy globally, not enough is being done as climate extremes bite and temperatures climb higher.
