#ABCNews Trump says he thinks Putin and Zelenskyy ‘will make peace’

“We’re going to see what happens with that meeting,” Trump said in the Oval Office on Thursday. “We have a big meeting, and it’s going to be, I think, very important for Russia. And it’s going to be very important for us and important for us only in that we’re going to save a lot of lives.”

Trump said he believed he’d have a “good” conversation with Putin, but that the more significant development would be a trilateral meeting between the U.S., Ukraine and Russia.
