ARTEMIS II: Mission to the Moon; Crew reaches the far side of the moon

The Artemis II crew made its closest approach to the moon — about 4,070 miles above the surface of the moon — at 7:01 p.m. ET on Monday.
While passing around the far side of the moon, the Artemis II crew reached their maximum distance from Earth at 252,760 miles.
