ABC News Tom Hanks to play Abraham Lincoln

Oscar winner Tom Hanks has been tapped to play Abraham Lincoln in the screen adaption of the novel “Lincoln in the Bardo” by George Saunders.

Hanks is actually related to the 16th U.S. president as a distant cousin of Lincoln’s mother.
