Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma termed the allegations leveled by the Congress against his family as completely baseless. He has filed an FIR under Section 420 against Congress leaders. Himanta remarked that the Congress is resorting to the same tactics to tarnish the image of its opponents that it employed forty years ago; however, given that this is now the age of technology, the Congress’s machinations have been exposed.
