छठ का पर्व संपन्न होने के साथ ही बिहार में नेता चुनावी रंग में आ गए हैं. तेजस्वी यादव ने महागठबंधन का मेनिफेस्टो जारी किया. ये भी एलान हो गया कि राहुल गांधी भी बिहार में कैंपेन शुरू करेंगे. अखिलेश यादव भी RJD के उम्मीदवारों के लिए वोट मांगने बिहार जाएंगे.. असदुद्दीन ओवैसी की रैलियां भी शुरू हो गईं. प्रशान्त किशोर के दो दो वोटर कार्ड भी सामने आए. लेकिन ज्यादातर बात हुई महागठबंधन के घोषणापत्र की जिसे नाम दिया गया है बिहार का तेजस्वी प्रण. हालांकि इसमें कोई नई बात नहीं हैं, जीविका दीदी को सरकारी कर्मचारी का दर्जा, तीस हजार रूपए सैलरी, बुजुर्गों को पेंशन, माई बहिन योजना के तहत पैसा. हर परिवार के एक मेंबर को सरकारी नौकरी जैसे जो वादे, प्रचार के दौरान तेजस्वी कई बार कर चुके हैं.

But most of the talk was about the Grand Alliance’s manifesto, titled “Bihar ka Tejaswi Pran.” While there’s nothing new in it, it promises government employee status for Jeevika Didi, a salary of thirty thousand rupees, pension for the elderly, and money under the Mai Behen Yojana. Tejashwi has made promises like government jobs for one member of every family several times during campaigning.
