The long-awaited opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) has been set for November 1. The GEM is the largest museum in the world dedicated to a single civilization. It houses over 100,000 artifacts, including – for the first time – the complete collection of Tutankhamun’s treasures. Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, the museum’s CEO, gave CGTN’s Yasser Hakim an exclusive preview tour.
