A heartwarming video from Tianshui City, northwest China’s Gansu Province, shows auxiliary police officer Song Weilin helping children cross the road with hugs and high-fives. Song has served as an auxiliary police officer for 26 years, including eight years on school crossing duty. He salutes drivers who stop for students, and no traffic accidents have been reported at the two schools where he works. Families have also sent more than 10 thank-you banners in appreciation of his work. #coolchina
