Fino Payments Bank Bets on Digital Recovery; Eyes SFB License Soon | Rishi Gupta | Business　 #ETNOW

Rishi Gupta, MD & CEO of Fino Payments Bank, joined ET Now to break down the bank’s Q2 performance and outlook for FY26.

Despite a decline in other income due to regulatory changes impacting digital payments and domestic money transfers, Gupta said the bank’s core CASA franchise remains strong — contributing 40% of total revenues and growing 21% YoY.

Margins expanded 575 basis points, driven by a low-cost deposit base and improved business mix.

He expects a rebound in digital transactions by Q3–Q4 and 20–25% topline growth for FY26, even as the low-margin remittance business continues to shrink.
