Government shutdown could impact MN heating assistance
The federal government shutdown could impact Minnesota heating assistance this winter. The state of Minnesota has not yet received new funds for the 2025-2026 winter season, and payments for heating bills, emergency fuel deliveries, and furnace repairs will be delayed, the Minnesota Department of Commerce says.
