Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Senator Ben Ray Luján (D-NM) and Senate Democrats will hold a media availability on the Keep SNAP and WIC Funded Act of 2025, which would ensure that the approximately 42 million Americans who receive SNAP and 7 million pregnant women and new moms who receive WIC aid will see their benefits continue uninterrupted until the shutdown ends.
