Russia Laughs As Germany Pins Hope On Massive $400+ Billion Military Budget To Fight Putin Alone?
Germany is planning a €377 billion ($440 billion) expansion of its armed forces, Politico reported Monday, citing internal government documents. The initiative is part of a wider push to strengthen military capabilities across the European Union.
According to the report, the documents outline plans for new weapons and equipment programs spanning the Bundeswehr’s land, air, naval, space, and cyber divisions. The long-term rearmament strategy is expected to extend beyond the 2026 federal budget.
