देशभर में लोक आस्था का महापर्व छठ पूजा पूरे श्रद्धा और भक्ति के साथ मनाया जा रहा है. चार दिनों तक चलने वाले इस पर्व की शुरुआत नहाय-खाय से होती है और उगते सूर्य को अर्घ्य देने के बाद होता है. इस पर्व में व्रती महिलाएं और पुरुष सूर्य देव और छठी मईया की आराधना करते हैं.

Chhath Puja, the grand festival of folk faith, is being celebrated with devotion and reverence across the country. The four-day festival begins with Nahay-Khaay and concludes with offerings to the rising sun. In this festival, fasting women and men worship Sun God and Chhathi Maiya.
