बाराबंकी और गोमती के तट पर विराजमान यह महादेव मंदिर। जिस इलाके में यह मंदिर है, उसका नाम हैदरगढ़। मुगल काल में औरंगजेब के समय यह एक ताकतवर तहसील हुआ करती थी।पौराणिक गाथाओं के मुताबिक इस प्राचीन शिवलिंग की स्थापना महाभारत काल में हुई थी।

This Mahadev temple sits on the banks of the Gomti River in Barabanki. The area where this temple is located is called Haidergarh. During the Mughal period, it was a powerful tehsil under the reign of Aurangzeb. According to legend, this ancient Shivalinga was established during the Mahabharata period.
